- Yamal Railway Company has five TE3 locomotives. Both sections of all five locomotives exist here. In July 2005 three TE3 locomotives are used as 2-section locomotives. They are probably used every day. The other two locomotives seen in 2005 at Korotchaevo depot did not have both of their sections coupled together. However, all sections were at the depot. The depot director thought I was a spy and would not tell this to me.)

- All trains on this railway always seem to have such a dormitory car behind the locomotive. All trains serving industries, and work trains also have such a car, at least this is what I saw.
